TTI and the Community
As a company, our success in the marketplace depends on constantly asking ourselves how we can make our products better. As people, our success depends on asking how we can make society better. At TTI, our energies go in both directions, with the strong support and encouragement of the Board, management and employees.
In Hong Kong, we support charities through regular donations and participation in events. Our youth development programme provides educational scholarships and internships. We run product and technology development projects with local universites, and sponsor industry seminars for the public. TTI also encourages contiuous learning among employees, by granting education subsidies and organising seminars and training programmes. We regulary participate in the Government's "Youth Work Experience & Training Scheme" and "One Company One Job" initiatives.
Our overseas subsidiaries also contribute to their communities. They are active in making charitable donations and encourage their staff to support fund raising activities. TTI and its subsidiaries overseas have also funded scholarships to local colleges and participated in advisory boards. In addition, we regularly donate power tools to non-profit organisations for building public facilities such as playgrounds and youth centres, and to medical and fire departments, to supplement their equipment.
