German companies donate medical equipment worth $350,000 to HCM City

Techtronic Industries Company Limited in cooperation with Deutsches Haus Ho Chi Minh City on Tuesday donated much - needed German made medical ventilators and monitors to Ho Chi Minh City hospitals.

German-made medical ventilators and monitors were donated to Hồ Chí Minh City hospitals on Tuesday, thanks to Techtronic Industries and Deutsches Haus.

The donation was initiated by the Vietnamese Ambassador to Germany, Nguyễn Minh Vũ, the European Chamber of Commerce and the German Business Association in Việt Nam.

The medical equipment valued at US$350,000 was handed over to the Vietnam Fatherland Front, who were representing the People's Committee of HCM City, on Tuesday.

Sven Eschrich, Vice President Operations and New Product Introductions of Techtronic Industries in Việt Nam, and Elmar Dutt, COO and General Director of Deutsches Haus, also handed over 15 Intensive Care Ventilators and 30 Patient Monitors made by DRÄGER in Germany, for immediate use in HCM City hospitals.
